With the winter season reaching it’s end, we couldn’t help but share this whimsical winter wedding that took place at some of the most beautiful venues in downtown Omaha. Winter weather can really provide the most elegant and gorgeous settings for a wedding. We love how Kari and Ben chose a delicate and soft color palette of pink and gold to warm up their winter wedding. The reception décor, centerpieces and table settings felt so romantic and elegant. And even though you can’t always predict winter weather, photographer Dana Damewood, collaborated with the client to find beautiful locations that created the most stunning portraits.
“From the first time I met with Kari and Ben, I knew they were going to be wonderful to work with. Producing amazing natural light portraits can sometimes be a challenge in the winter months, so we began brainstorming locations that would work – even if we had inclement weather on the day of the wedding. We decided on two locations- the Hilton Presidential Suite and the Durham Museum. Both locations offer amazing light and incredible space to work with. They had their first moment on the white stairs at the Hilton and then we took a quick ride on the trolley to the museum. The ceremony at Kountze was beautiful in every way and I was so proud to be a part of it.”
